Butterfly Stitch – mypicot – Crochet Tutorials

This butterfly stitch crochet tutorial will take you how to make this stitch I found on picot’s site. It may seem a bit complicated for beginners so I thought I would make it easier for anyone who was looking to try this awesome looking stitch!

The pattern for this stitch is found on the Mypicot site, but they don’t have a tutorial so I thought I would make one, because when I first saw this stitch I was sure the butterflies were sewn on. But they’re not! You make the in rows, as you go. So one row will have one part of the butterfly the the next row continues it, it’s so cool! I hope you will give it a try, making a baby blanket using this stitch would be beautiful!
