For this project you will need a 5mm hook, or a US size H also you will need a 3.5 mm hook or size E hook to make the button and two colors of 10 ply or 4 ply medium worsted weight yarn and a tapestery needle for sewing the flower and button on.

ch = Chain
sl st = Slip Stitch
st = stitch
sc = Single Crochet
dc = Double Crochet
*( )* = repeat what is in the brackets til end of row.

ch11, dc in 3rd ch from hook. DC across for 10 dc's total, turn your work upside down and work another DC in the last place you worked a DC, then continue around for a total of 9 then sl st in the top of the beginning stitch.
Ch 2 and then dc in the next stitch to the right making your first cross stitch

Then skip a st and DC then DC into the previous st you skipped to make a cross stitch, continue around cross stitching until you reach the beginging st again, you should have 10 cross stitchs total. sl st into beginning st and repeat for a total of 8 rounds of cross stitches.
Then line up 10 stitches aross for the cell phone flap, ch 3 and then DC in the next 9 stitches for a total of 10, ch3 and repeat for 3 rows total. ch 1 and cut yarn. work in end.
Flower: ch 3 SC 11, sl st into first ch and fasten off. Change color and sl st into any top stitch. ch 7 and sl st into next stitch and repeat til you have 11 petals, leave a tail for sewing onto flower.
