For this project you will need a 3.5mm/ E hook and worsted weight yarn 4 ply US 10 ply AU in two colors and a tapestry needle to hide you ends. Also a rubber band preferably without the metal piece on it.
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch

Ch 4 and sl st into the beginning ch.
ch 1 and sc 12 into ring. Sl st into beginning st
*ch 5 and sl st into next st,* repeat at end you should have 11 little petals, sl st into last stitch. Ch 1 and cut yarn.
sc your new color onto a ch 5 petal space and ch 5, *sc into the next ch 5 petal* and repeat all the way around
Rounds 4 - 8
continue in one round, so just sc onto next ch 5 space and ch 5 again, *sc onto next ch 5 space* and repeat until you have 5 rounds done.
You have one sc into this first space already, so sc 4 more times, and sc 5 into each ch 5 space.
sc dec in each stitch around
now working through your stitches and into the rubber band, sc around the rubber band attaching it to your project. Ch 1 cut your yarn leaving enough tail to be worked into the project with a tapestry needle.
