NOTE: Don't forget to chain one at the end of a row before you turn your work and start the next row when using single crochet or half double crochet. Chain 2 at the beginning of row when doing the double crochet. Chain three when doing the triple crochet, and chain four when starting a row with a quadriple crochet.
NOTE: When your doing a square or non circular project, the word "row" will be used and when working in a circle it will referred to as a "round"
In a pattern if you see INC = Increase or DEC = Decrease
When you see SL ST in a pattern it means to Slip Stitch
Also when working in a circle instead of back and forth, in a pattern is usually refered to as "round" instead or "row" So instead of saying SC all stitches in the next row, the pattern may say, SC all stitches in this round.
If you see in a pattern FPSC or BPSC this is what it stands for
When you see in a pattern FPDC or BPDC this is what it stands for.
In a pattern you will see this as FSC
In a pattern you will see this as FDC
