ABBREVIATIONS

st = Stitch

sc = Single Crochet

dc = Double Crochet

FPDC = Front Post Double Crochet

* = Repeat what is in between the stars for the rest of the row

Multiples of the stitch

This stitch is done in multiples of 8 + 2


 

To Start – With 1stcolor

Ch in multiples of 8 until you reach desired with, then ch 2 and you’re ready to start.

 

Row 1

sc in 2nd ch from the hook, * ch 1, sk 3 sts, DC, ch 1, 4 times into the same st. skip 3 sts and sc * repeat for row.

To end row: sc into last ch

Row 2 – With next color

ch 6 and * sc into the center ch 1 of shell, ch 3 and FPDC on the post of the sc, ch 3 * repeat for row.

To end row: DC in last sc
