For this project you will need:
- HOOK: Size yarn recommends but I used 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US
- YARN: Any size but I used worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU

- This stitch is done in multiples of 8

* = Repeat what is in between the stars for the rest of the row

To start
Crochet in multiples of 8 until you reach desired width
Row 1
DC in 5th ch from hook. DC in next 3 sts, * ch 3, skip 3, dc in next 5 sts* repeat to end. Ch 5 and turn
Row 2
sk 2 dc’s and DC into next, ch 1 and dc into last dc of this set. I am calling each set of 5 dc’s a sec. * DC in first dc, ch 1, sk a dc, dc into next,
ch 1, dc in last dc of set. ch 3 * repeat for row.
DC in top of ch 4 to end row. Ch 4 and turn.
Row 3
skip 1st dc and DC into ch 1 space, dc in next dc, dc in next ch 1 sp, dc in last dc of set. ch 3 * dc in next dc, DC into ch 1 space, dc in next dc,
dc in next ch 1 sp, dc in last dc of set. ch 3* repeat for row. CH 5 and turn.
