I made a sweater similar to this one for my daughter a few years ago, but she refused to wear it because she said the neck was to tight and also it was bunching up under the arms and it was made from cheap acrylic yarn so it was itchy, so it hung in closet for years.

So now that I have some more experience I wanted to try again to make it well and hopefully get it right this time!

For this project you’ll need:

Each skein is 100grams / 250 meters or 273 yards

I used 3 black skeins and 1 tan and 1 teal.

Information about the kind of yarn I used

Anti โ€“ Pilling means the yarn isn’t supposed to become fuzzy. Best to get for garments. This is soft baby yarn as well.

  • Medium 4 worsted weight yarn \ Aran 10 ply
  • Each skein is 100grams / 250 meters or 273 yards per skein.
  • I used 3 black skeins and 1 tan and 1 teal to make the size small sweater.

They has discontinued this yarn line of colors (Updated 2024)

Sizing

This sweater is made in a small size, but can easily be changed to fit any size. Just make your first flower ring fit around the waist of the person your making it for. It took 16 flowers for small, so try 20 for medium and 24 for large. This is only a guess though since I have not made one in any other size than small.
