This Crochet Tube Scarf’s color changes are even easier than the Butterfly Stitch Tube Scarf was. Also both of these tube scarves would be great for both men and women and talk about warm!

It’s double thick and the texture of the zig zag is so easy to do because tube scarves are done in the round, so it’s easy to keep track of which direction your zig zags are going.

Important Notes

  • Counting from the most pointed peak. The place where we first started changing direction, you should be able to count up 10 DFPC‘s.
  • Just letting you know that it’s up to you if you’d like to change directions now or wait a few more rows. It depends on how zig zaggy you want your zigzags to be. I started with them spaced out at 10, but by the end I had them spaced out by 15.
  • But just for the purpose of this pattern we’re changing every 9 rows, the last DFPC from the previous direction will always count as our 10th zig zag.
  • So for rounds 32 – 35 you’ll also be using the Dark teal before switching back to your White color for the row. [see color pattern at top of pattern]

To FINISH your SCARF After I did 10 rows with my variegated yarn. Keeping with the variegated yarn, do a row of DC’s. Cut yarn leaving a long enough tail to be hidden. Make sure to check the beginning of the scarf as well and hide all the tails that would show.
