I’ve been asked many times “How do you attach a stitch marker” so I will teach you a very simple method of How to attach a Stitch Marker to Crochet Using Yarn. Yes a yarn crochet marker works just fine! Even better than a metal one in my opinion because yarn markers add no weight and you can use a different color piece of yarn for each marker to make it easier for you to keep track of what your marking.
