For this project you will need:
HOOK: Any size but I used 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US
YARN: Any size but I used worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU

The Multiples
This stitch is done in multiples of 10 + 4
To start
Chain in multiples of 10 and when your project reaches your desired size chain 4 more and you’re ready for row 1
Row 1
DC in the 5th chain from the hook. * ch 3, sk a stitch, SC into next stitch. ch 5, sk 3 sts, SC in next stitch. ch 3, sk a stitch and then do a DC decrease, so |YO and pull up a loop, sk a st and insert your hook into next. YO and pull through 2 loops leaving 2 loops on your hook | repeat this 2 more times and you should have 4 loops on your hook. YO and pull through all 4 loops. * repeat for row.
To end your row, ch 3, you should have 3 sts left. Skip the first st and working in the last 2 chains only, DC dec using the last 2 sts. Dec as usual, only difference is you’ll have 3 loops on the hook this time because you’re only using 2 sts instead of 3. YO pull through all 3 loops. CH 1 and turn
Row 2 – this is the beginning of the repeat. (rows 2 – 5)
SC in 1st stitch, * ch 5, then working with our ch 5 space from last row, you’ll be using the center / middle ch, DC 5 into that middle ch, ch 5. skip over to the DC dec stitch and SC into the top of it. * repeat for row.
To end your row, after your last Ch 5 and SC into ending DC dec. ch 5 and turn
Row 3
SC into the 4th chain in our first ch 5 space. *Ch 3, using the 3 DC’s in the middle of our DC 5, DC dec using those 3 middle DC’s. ch 3, SC in 2nd ch over. Ch 5. Now we want to skip over the next 3 chs, the SC , as well as the next 3 chains. SC in the next st. * (Which is the second ch to the left of our DC 5 ) Repeat for row.
To end your row, after your last SC in your ch, ch 2 and TRC in ending SC. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 4
DC 2 into beginning stitch with the beg ch 3. *Ch 5 and SC in the DC dec. Ch 5, Find center, ch of 5 and DC 5 into it. * repeat for row.
To end your row, after your last Ch 5, DC 3 into the 3rd ch of your ending ch 5. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 5 (last row of repeat)
DC in the 2nd DC of the row. (middle DC) *Ch 3, SC into 2nd ch over. Ch 5. Now we want to skip over the next 3 chs, the SC , as well as the next 3 chains. SC in the next st. Ch 3 and skip the first DC and DC dec using the 3 DC’s only. * repeat for row.
To end your row, ch 3 and skip the first DC, and DC dec using the last 2 DC’s of the row.
