Offset Triangle Filet Crochet – Free Crochet Pattern

 

This Free Crochet pattern & Crochet tutorial that teaches you how to make this lacy filet crochet stitch in the pattern of offset triangles. This is a very easy pattern to repeat. Plus find the link to the graph pattern below and follow along.

Offset Triangle Filet Crochet Stitch – Free Crochet Pattern

For this project you’ll need:

You can use any size yarn and recommended hook for yarn size. I used a 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US and

Worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU

 

ch = Chain

st = Stitch

dc = Double Crochet

sk a st = Skip a Stitch

 

* = Repeat what is in between the stars for the rest of the row

To Start:

Ch in multiples of 2 until you reach desired width then ch 1 and begin.

 

Row 1

DC in 7th ch from the hook, * DC in next 6 sts, ch 1, sk a st, * repeat for row.

 

To end row: DC in last st.

Row 2

ch 5, skip 1st dc and DC into 2nd dc of row. DC in next 4 sts, * ch 1 and sk a st, ch 1 and sk a st, DC in next 5 sts * repeat for row.

To end row: ch 2 instead of 1 and DC in last st.

 

Row 3

ch 3 and DC into 1st ch, * ch 1 sk a st, dc 1 in next sts, sk a st, ch 1, DC in ch, DC in DC, DC in ch * Repeat for row.

To end row: To end row DC in the 3rd ch and the 4th chain.

 

Row 4

Ch 3 and DC in first dc, Dc in the next ch *ch 1 and sk a st, DC in middle dc, ch 1 sk a st, dc in ch, dc in next 3 dc’s, dc in ch. * Repeat for row.

To end row: DC in last DC of row then, DC in top of ch 3

 

Row 5

Ch 3 and DC in first dc, Dc in the next 2 dc’s *ch 1 and sk a st, DC next ch, dc in next 5 dc’s. DC in next ch 1 space.  * Repeat for row.

To end row: DC in ch 1 space and in last 2 dc’s of row and dc in top of ch 3.

 

Row 6

Ch 3 and DC next 2 DC’s, * ch 1, sk a st, DC in ch, ch 1, sk a st, DC in next 5 DC’s * Repeat for row.

Row 7

Ch 3 and DC in 1st DC, * ch 1, sk a st DC in ch, DC in DC, DC in ch, ch 1sk a st. dc in next 3 dc’s *Repeat for row.

Row 8

ch 4 * DC in ch space, DC in next 5 DC’s, dc in ch, ch 1, sk a st *

 

To end row: DC in top of ch 3

 

Row 9

Ch 4, and skip ch space and next DC, * dc in next 5 dc’s, dc in ch, ch 1, sk a st dc in ch 1 space *

To end row: ch 2 & DC in top of ending ch 3

 

Row 10 (Is a repeat of 2 so use pic from there if you need it)

Ch 5, skip ch and 1st dc and * dc in next 5 sts, ch 1 and sk a st, dc in ch, ch 1, sk a st * repeat for row.

 

To end row: ch 2 instead of 1 and DC in last st.

 

Repeat rows 3 – 10 until desired size is reached.
