For this project you’ll need:
- HOOK: Size yarn recommends but I used 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US
- YARN: Any size but I used worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU

ch = Chain
sl st = Slip Stitch
st = Stitch
sk = Skip
YO = Yarn Over
Quad = Quadruple Crochet
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
* = Repeat what is in between the stars for the rest of the row

- This stitch is done in multiples of 14 + 4
To start
Chain in the correct multiples until in multiples of 14 until you reach your desired width then ch 4.
Row 1
Quadruple crochet in the 11 ch from the hook. *ch 1, QUAD 6 times until you have 7 QUADs and 6 ch 1 spaces.
Skip 6 chs and DC in the 7th. Skip 6 chs and QUAD in the 7th* Repeat until you reach the last 7 chs. DC in last ch to end row.
Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2
sc in top of 1st Quad and in every QUAD, ch 1 space and dc of the row. Ch 7 and turn
Row 3
QUAD into the first sc, ch 1, QUAD, ch 1 QUAD into the same sc. *SC into the 4th QUAD of the shell from row 1, | Ch 1 and QUAD | 6 times
into the SC between shells. * Repeat for row. To end row, | QUAD, ch 1 | 3 times, QUAD one more time in same stitch. ch 1 and turn.
Row 4
sc in top of 1st Quad and in every QUAD and ch 1 space. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 5
sc in first sc, * QUAD in the sc between shells. |ch 1, Quad | 6 times. sc in next sc * Repeat for row. SC in last sc to end row.
REPEAT rows 2 – 5
