This Granny Square crochet pattern will teach you how to make the Reverb Granny Square.
This granny is full of texture that has a bonus effect when sewn together and it makes for a very warm afghan as well since these grannies are a bit of a yarn hog!
Which makes them great for getting rid of Scrap yarn! Not to mention the color possibilities!

For this project you will need:
HOOK: 6 mm hook or size J hook for the US
YARN: I used 2 colors of worsted weight yarn,
4 ply US, 10 ply AU
Each Skein was – 100 grams / 3.5. oz or 240 meters / 262 yards
ABBREVIATIONS

ch = Chain
sl st = Slip Stitch
st = Stitch
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
FPDC = Front Post Double Crochet
BPDC = Back Post Double Crochet
beg = beginning
Repeat what’s in between * for rest of round.
This granny measures 30.5 cms or 12 inches Wide / Tall

The colors on the 3 square.
Feel free to use any 3 colors you want.
- 1st color = Pink
- 2nd color = Blue
- 3rd color = White
The colors on the 4 square.
Feel free to use any 4 colors you want.

- 2nd color = Green
- 3rd color = Orange
- 4th color = Dark Blue

THE FIRST 5 ROUNDS Follow color direction for both 3 and 4 color grannies then once you hit row 6 color directions with differ in #
To Start: With 1st color
Ch 3 and sl st in beg ch to form a ring.
Round 1 – 1st color
Ch 2,
DC 11 into the center of the ring.
Sl st in beg ch 2 to end round (12 sts)
Round 2 – 1st color
Ch 2
DC in same beg stitch as the Ch 2.
DC 2 into the remaining 11 sts.
Sl st in beg ch 2 to end round (24 sts)
Round 3 – 1st color
Ch 2
*DC next st.
DC 2 into the next st.
DC 2 into the next st.
SIDE NOTE for next round we will be making our corner in the space between those two Double DC’s you just made.

To end row HDC in last st, then sl st in the top of the beg ch 2
Round 4 —-CHANGE to 2nd color
