To Start / Multiples of this stitch

The Multiples of this stitch is 8 + 3, what that means is you’ll chain in sets of 8 until you reach your desired width then chain 3 more and you’re ready to begin row 1.

To end this row, after your last Ch 3, SC in the last 3 Chs. Ch 2 and Turn.

REPEAT rows 2 – 7

End your project after row 7 because it’s the flattest. If you’d like it to be even flatter you could do a row of single crochets. If you’re making a blanket then I recommend doing a row of single crochets all the way around as a primer row for your border. Happy Crocheting!
