And when you make it separate like this, it allows you to change the color of the bear to your own needs.

For this project you’ll need:
- HOOK: 5mm hook or your US size H hook and
- YARN: a bit of dark brown, light brown, red, black and white worsted weight yarn 4 ply US / 10 ply AU

Round 1
Ch 3 and sl st into beginning ch to form a ring.
Round 2
Ch 2 [counts as first dc] and dc 11 into ring, sl st into beginning ch 2. (12 sts)
Round 3
Ch 2 then dc 1 into first st [ch 2 counts as a dc] *(Dc 2 into all sts around.)* (24 sts)
Round 4
Ch 2 and dc 1 into first st, *(dc 1 into next st dc 2 into next st)* (36 sts)
That was the last increasing round, Now we start making the ears
Round 5
Sc in first st, HDC in next st, DC into next st, 7 TRC into next st, DC into next st, HDC into next st, then sc for the next 6 sts. Then HDC in the next st, DC into next st, 7 TRC into next st, DC into next st, DC into next st, *(sc in the next 3 sts, then sc 2 into next st) continue the sc pattern until you get to the last 2 sts, skip one st and sl st into last st. ch 1 and fasten off yarn.
To make the eyes and nose you will need to change hook size to size 3.50mm or size US E hook
Eyes
Round 1
White part of the eye you ch 4 and sl st into first ch to form a ring, sc 6 into ring.
Round 2
Sc 2 in all sts (12) fasten yarn off leaving a tail for sewing [Make two]
For the black pupils you get your black yarn and chain 4 and sl st into beginning ch. Ch 1 and fasten off yarn leaving a tail. [Make two]
Nose
With the same size hook you chain 4 and sl st into beginning chain to form a ring and sc 3 into ring (making a flat part on top) flat part is top of nose.
