For this project you will need:
- HOOK: Any size but I used 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US
- YARN: Any size but I used worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU

Multiples of the stitch
This stitch is done in multiples of 12 + 8
To start
ch in multiples of 12 until you reach desired size, then ch 8 and your ready to start.
Row 1
sc in 2nd and 3rd ch, * ch 3, sk 3 sts, dc, ch 1, sk a st, dc in next ch, ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc, ch 1, sk a st, sc in next st * Repeat for row
To end row: DC in last 2 chs
Row 2
ch 1 and sc in 1st dc, ch 3 and *skip over to the ch 1 that’s in between the 2 sc’s, work a dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc into ch space. Ch 3 and sc into ch space that’s in between the dc’s, ch 3 * Repeat for row,
To end row: dc, ch 1, dc in last sc of row
Row 3
ch 3 and dc into ch 1 space, * ch 3 and sc on ch 3 space, ch 1, sc in next ch 3 space, ch 3 move over to your dc’s and dc ch 1 in first ch space in between dc’s, dc in next ch 1 space. * repeat for row.
To end row: sc onto ch 3 space then sc into last sc of row.
Row 4
ch 4 and dc into beginning sc, * ch 3 and sc into ch space that’s between the dc’s, ch 3 and work a dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc into the ch space between the sc’s *
To end row:
after your last ch 3, sc into top of ch 3
Row 5
ch 1 and sc into sc, sc into ch 3 space, * dc and ch 1 in ch 1 space between dc’s, dc in chec ch 1 space that’s in between dc. Ch 3 and sc into ch 3 space, ch 1, sc in next ch 3 space, ch 3 *
To end row: DC in top of ch 4, and in next ch as well.
Repeat rows 2 – 5 until you reach desired size
