Crochet Bottle Holder – Free Crochet Pattern

A Simple crochet Bottle bottle holder is a must for the summer or when you’re planning a trip. This also makes a great scrap yarn or crochet trip project because it’s small and can be moved around easily.

This is a great project for a beginner crocheter. It uses basic stitches in the round.

This pattern is to fit a 750 ml bottle that is 9 (24 cms) inches long and wide, feel free to shorten the pattern to fit your bottle the way you like.

MAKING THE STRAP

If you have trouble with the single crochet foundation stitch, this beginner video with slow motion may help you

*(sc 5, turn and sc again in the next 5 sts, ch 3 turn and dc in the remaining four sts)* Repeat this for eleven rounds, then on the 12th round sc an extra row, like you did at the start. This will give you a nice look to the strap.

Continue for another 11 rows and then add another extra row of sc’s until you have 60 rows or the desired length

Count over six sts and connect the strap to the other side of the holder by single crocheting it to the holder.
