Double Crochet Foundation Stitch (DCFS) Crochet Pattern and Video tutorial

This is the pattern and tutorial of the Double Crochet Foundation Stitch, if you’d like to learn how to do the Single Crochet Foundation stitch then you can do that here.

The Foundation stitches in crochet can be a bit scary to try to use, but I assure it that it can save you so much time and also allows you to start crocheting out from a fixed point from anywhere on your project.

Use them to create handles on bags or get into free form crochet!

Are you one of those people who hand trouble when making an afghan, that the beginning chain is tighter on the afghan than the rest of your stitches? Well the foundation stitches prevent that from happening.
