For this project you will need:
- HOOK: Any size but I used 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US
- YARN: Any size but I used worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU

st = Stitch
sc = Single Crochet
dc = Double Crochet
sk sts = skip stitches
* = Repeat what is in between the stars for the rest of the row

Multiples of the stitch
This stitch is done in multiples of 10 + 7
To Start
Ch in multiples of 10 until you reach desired width, then ch 7 more and you’re ready to start.
Row 1
sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 2 sts, * ch 3, sk 2 sts, dc in next ch, ch 3, sk 2 sts, sc in next 5 sts * repeat for row.
To end row: after last ch 3, sk 2 sts and dc in last st.
Row 2
ch 1 and sc in 1st dc, sc in ch 3 space, * sk next sc and sc in next 3 sc’s, sk last sc and ch 3, sc in next ch 3 space, sc in dc, sc in next ch 3 space, ch 3 * Repeat for row
To end row: sc in last 2 sc’s
Row 3
ch 6 and * sc in ch 3 space, sc in next 3 sc’s, sc in next ch 3 space, ch 3 and dc in center sc, ch 3 * Repeat for row
To end row: sc in last ch 3 space, sc in last 2 sc’s
Row 4
ch 1 and sc in next 2 sts, * ch 3 and sc in next ch 3 space, sc in next sc, sc in next ch 3 space, ch 3 and skip next sc, sc in next 3 sc’s, sc in next ch 3 space * Repeat for row
To end row: (Working in ending ch 6) skip first 2 ch;s and sc in next 2 ch’s.
Row 5
ch 1 and sc in next 2 sc’s, sc in ch 3 space, * ch 3 and dc in center sc, ch 3 and sc in next ch 3 space, sc in next 3 sc’s, sc in next ch 3 space * Repeat for row
To end row: DC in last sc of row
Repeat rows 2 – 5 until you reach desired size.
