The Lacy Zig Zag Ripple Stitch is one of my favorite ripple stitches. It works up quick and is easy to do. Follow along with the video tutorial and pattern and you’ll be a pro in no time! The multiples for the Lacy Zig Zag Ripple Stitch are included in the pattern so feel free to use it where ever you need a beautiful lacy stitch in a garment or make any size afghan.

For this project you will need:
- HOOK: Any size but I used 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US
- YARN: Any size but I used worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU

ch = Chain
sl st = Slip Stitch
st = Stitch
sk = Skip
beg = beginning
YO = Yarn Over
DC = Double Crochet
TRC =Triple Crochet
FPDC = Front Post Double Crochet
BPDC = Back Post Double Crochet
* = Repeat what’s in between * for rest of round.
The Multiples
The multiples of this stitch is 17 and for the ends of the stitch you will need a total of 23 as show in the picture below. 10 + 13 = 23
So the multiples of this stitch is 23 then when you’re project reaches you desired size add 17 more sts.

To start:
Ch 23 then chain in multiples of 17 until you reach desired size. 40 sts
Row 1
TRC 2 times in 6th ch from hook. TRC 2 in next two sts. * ( sk a st, TRC ) 5 times,
sk a st, (TRC 2 in the next st ) 6 times * Repeat until last 4 sts. TRC 2 in 3 of the stitches, then TRC 1 in last stitch to end row. Ch 2 & turn.
Row 2
FPDC in all sts. Ch 4 and turn.
Row 3
TRC 2 in next 3 sts, ( sk a st, TRC ) 5 times, sk a st, (TRC 2 in the next st ) 6 times * Repeat until last 4 sts. TRC 2 in 3 of the stitches, then TRC 1 in last stitch to end row. Ch 2 & turn.
Row 4
FPDC in all sts, ch 4 and turn.
Repeat rows 3 & 4 until you reach desired size.
