Star of David and Menorah Crochet Tutorials – Crochet Granny Square

Star of David and Menorah Tutorials:

Hello Crochet Friends!

Back in 2012, in my first year of starting my crochet channel, I made an afghan for my son and daughter.

Both made from granny squares. I wanted to make a blue one for my son using symbols from the country he was born in, but I couldn’t find any granny squares that I liked for Israel, so I designed a few for myself, and filmed a tutorial on them.

Since it was in 2012 and HD camera’s weren’t even a thing yet….needless to say the Quality isn’t the best, but I sure hope they can still be understood and you’ll be able to get some use out of them.

Sorry I only did Right Handed versions back then.

I even made a video back then to show the afghan closer. I used a lot of random granny squares I found around the internet at the time. I think most came from the Crochet Geek’s tutorials.

My daughter’s afghan was made using the Crochet Geek’s Loopy Flower Granny

I also took a video of that one too if you wanna see it closer. I used scrap yarn that I had been holding onto. Was a great scrap yarn eater!
