For this project you’ll need:
- HOOK: Size yarn recommends but I used 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US
- YARN: Any size but I used worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU
ABBREVIATIONS

ch = Chain
sl st = Slip Stitch
st = Stitch
sk a st = Skip a stitch
sk = Skip
YO = Yarn Over
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
DC DEC = Double Crochet Decrease
* = Repeat what is in between the stars for the rest of the row

The Multiples of this stitch
This stitch is done in multiples of 10 + 2
Once you chained your multiples to you desired width continue to row 1.
Row 1
sc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 3 and skip 3 then sc in next st.
Ch 1 and skip 1, sc in next st. * repeat this until end of row.
If you’ve done it correctly you should have 4 chs left at the end, ch 3 , skip 3 and sc in last st. ch 1 and turn.
Row 2
sc in the first sc of row, ch 1.
* Working now in the ch 3 space you want to crochet a dc decrease then ch 1, repeat this 4 more times.

After your 5th DC DEC you want to ch 1 and sc into the sc, ch 1 * repeat for row. SC in last sc of row. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 3
DC in 1st sc of row. * Ch 1, Now working in the 5 spaces that were created when we made our DC DEC’s from last row.
We’ll be skipping the first space and single crocheting in the next.
Ch 3 and skip the next space and sc into the next.
Ch 1 and DC in the sc between shells.
| ch 1 and dc 2 more times in the sc | * repeat for row.
After the last sc in your last big space, you ant to ch 1 and DC, ch 1, DC into last sc of row. Ch 1 and turn
Row 4
ch 1, and sc in the first sc, ch 1
* Working now in the ch 3 space you want to crochet a dc decrease then ch 1, repeat this 4 more times.
After your 5th DC DEC you want to ch 1 and sc into the middle DC, ch 1 * repeat for row. SC in last sc of row. Ch 3 and turn.
Repeat rows 3 and 4
